Τhe
European Centre for Environmental Research and Training of Panteion
University is hosting a scientific meeting entitled:
"Collapse
or Sustainability? Ecological Integrity as a Fundamental Norm of Law
and Governance"
The
Meeting’s main subject is to examine the disconnect between the
dynamics of the global crisis (with its environmental, social and
financial/ economic facets) and the ability of states and governments
to respond to it.
Key-note
Speaker will be Professor Klaus Bosselman from the University
of Auckland and Director of the New Zealand Centre for Environmental
Law (see below a short CV), while his speech and remarks will be
commented upon by Assistant Professors George Balias (Harokopeion
University) and Charalambos Koutalakis (University of Athens).
The
Meeting will be introduced and coordinated by Professor Gr. I.
Tsaltas, Director of EKePEK and Rector of Panteion University.
The
working language will be English.
