ομιλία του καθηγητή Paul Harris από το Harvard University με τίτλο "When are young children autodidacts?"
Περίληψη: When do children rely on their own
judgment and when do they accept guidance from adults? In the domain of
moral development, some children will go against the practices and
beliefs of their own family and community by choosing not to eat meat
By contrast, in the domain of causal thinking, children will often set
aside their own intuitions about what can and cannot happen by accepting
the religious beliefs of their family and community. I will discuss the
psychological implications of this surprising flexibility in young
children
